Welcome to Green Oaks Bed & Breakfast
We would like to welcome you to Niagara-on-the-Lake and to our home. Our turn of
the century bed and breakfast is located in the historic village of St. Davids, in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake.
We sit on the edge of Ravine Winery and are 2 km from
Chateau Des Charmes
winery and/or Coyote Run Winery - just a few of the many wineries the region has to
offer.
Our home is furnished with antiques that enhance the beauty of the many
stained glass windows. The guest parlour with its comfortable sofas and chairs
beckons you to linger. We have 3 guest rooms, 2 rooms have king beds and
the third has a queen bed. Each room has a private washroom (2 are ensuites).
One room - the Maple room can have a second bedroom should you be traveling with
family (children are welcome ) or friends.
Breakfast is served in the bright and elegant dining room with the
morning sun shining through. Breakfast includes an array
of delicious fresh baked delights, home made jams and a choice of hot
entrees, as much as possible comes from my garden or from local farmers - a breakfast to remember!
Enjoy the Gardens,
or do as we do have a coffee/wine on the porch and watch the cyclists go by.
We are located on a popular cycling route.
We would love to welcome you with your pet however we have 2 cats that think
they run the place. Lets talk about it before you bring your pets.
Smoking is not allowed in the house but please feel free to smoke on the porch or
in the gardens. Please just remember to use ashtrays.
We are a
short drive (10 minutes) to Niagara Falls (and all the attractions - Maid of the
Mist, Buttery Fly Avery) and to Old Town with the great shopping and the Shaw
Theatre.
